Welcome!

Well hello there and welcome!!!

The goal here is to post as much information as possible to help us all be successful at couponing and getting the best deal for our hard earned dollars!

I am Onny, a Stay at home momma, so I need to save as much money as possible! I want to keep my cupboards and fridge full at a low cost, feed my husband and family good food and not break the bank doing so!

I want to share with you some of the best deals I can find out there for mommas like me and whoever is out there that finds this page!

I'll be doing classes locally to help friends and family to do the same. There is so much out there to learn and I want to help you learn what I have learned!

I have been extreme couponing since October 2013. I dove into this pretty hard right from the beginning.
At the moment, I primarily do most of my shopping at Publix. I have two small children, and am somewhat limited on time, so I stick to one store for the majority of my shopping. Aside from that, Publix has one of the most coupon friendly policies, most friendly staff, and overall greatest shopping experiences I have found.

A little background:
I grew up in Florida, where Publix is a very well known, and popular store. My family relocated to Michigan shortly before I turned 18 years old. I spent about 7 years there and life brought me to Nashville, Tennessee, where I currently reside with my beautiful family.
When I moved here, I rediscovered Publix, as we did not have them in Michigan, and I didn't really do very much grocery shopping at the time.
So when I moved here, I started shopping for myself. I did do some of my grocery shopping based on weekly sales, but for the most part, I was spending way to much money, but had no clue.
After getting married, losing a job, and having kids, I realized that my shopping habits needed to change drastically.
My solution:.... I went to Walmart. They had the lowest prices. I also went to Aldi's.. they also had the lowest prices. Most of which is true... they both are great for low prices. No doubt.

Not long ago, I started using eMeals meal planning, because I was a) running out of ideas for a variety of good meals.. b) spending too much and wasting food...
so.. I decided to use Publix as my main store.. which turned out to be a good deal overall.. the meal plans are based off of the sales ad for the week.. so I thought this was great...! and it was.

In September of 2013, I visited family in Florida. My brother's wife had become a crazy couponer, and thank the good Lord above, I got to spend some time with her and see her crazy amounts of "free" stuff she had stocked up on... cereal, deodorant, razors, juice, whatever! I went on one shopping trip with her.... and ok.. I gotta know what on earth it is she's doing...!!
She gave me some brief information and with that, I came home from vacation so motivated to figure this out that I just went nutso with it!

Now, 8 months later, I'm not only addicted, crazy, obsessed!!! I want to teach it.. I CANNOT go to the store and ever pay full price for ANYTHING.. and I have a pantry FULL of snacks, paper goods, laundry supplies, cereal.. you name it!

So here is my chance. I'm going to use this page to put as much information out there as I can (with two small children.. I have random moments and limitations.. lol )

I hope you can benefit from this!
and I've warned you that I'm crazy and obsessive.. so you can't hold it against me! :) lol
